With Guns, We Are Citizens; Without Them We Are Subjects

I found this on Facebook and I don't know who to credit for this, but this article has much wisdom in it. If only we can learn before it is too late.


A LITTLE GUN HISTORY

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.


Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

You won't see this data on the US evening news, or hear politicians disseminating this information.

Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws adversely affect only the law-abiding citizens.

Take note my fellow Americans, before it's too late!

I like the phrase "With guns, we are "citizens". Without them, we are "subjects". This is so very true. 

In a Socialistic or Communistic government, there are really no "citizens", just subjects. In America, because we are a "free" country, we are citizens. Each person does his or her part in building the community. In a Socialist or Communist country, the government is everything. The government makes the decisions you should be making for yourself. If you make a decision, and it disagrees with the government, then the government will penalize you. Do you see how the government is playing God and is actually demanding worship from the subject? This is why we need to be praying for the church in America, and praying for our country.

If you are reading this, and are a citizen or subject to another country, then you need to be praying for the church in your country as well as the government of your country. 

Pray:

For the salvation of lost souls

For the church in America to become healthy

For evangelism to take place in every city and every state in our country

For eyes to be open to the spiritual battle we are in and take action

Families First; America First

Why do we take care of our families so well? Is it to keep adding blessings to our families or is there another reason?

  We take care of our families, and serve each member as best as we can, so that each member can, in turn, help others.

  We can only give away what we have been given.

  One of the directions we have for the church, is to 'edify' the body of Christ. We don't just have people 'come to Christ' to just go out and tell others how they can 'come to Christ'. The body of Christ needs to be edified in order for the people to be effective in ministering to one another. Each member of the body of Christ needs edification and discipleship before they can give quality ministry to others.

For the body does not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body. 1 Corinthians 12:14-20 ESV

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Galatians 6:10 ESV

  It might look selfish on the outside to take care of one's self or family first, but in the end, it makes sense. When we are edified, we can be used to help other's be edified. If we are blessed materially, we can give materially to others. We work hard so we can share our abundance with others.

  If I am sick, I cannot take care of my children or family effectively. If I am weak, I cannot be strong for others. I am not in a place to help them until I am helped first. I cannot financially help others if I do not have a job or a means of bringing in money. If I believe that 'money' is the root of all evil, and I refuse to work because money is an idol, I am certainly not going to be able to help others who have physical needs.  If I get sick, I won't be able to help others who are sick, because I am too weak to help others and I won't have money to get medical help if I don't have an income. 

  When America was started, one of the reasons that many believe, is that God would use this nation to ultimately bless others. As people worked hard and built a society, then as they prospered, this prosperity was to be shared with others. 

  The Left doesn't understand many things and they make wrong assumptions on things. One wrong assumption is that wealthy people are greedy. I agree that wealthy people can be greedy. Many are. But not everyone who has money is greedy. The Left would say that the wealthy are bullying the poor around. This is nothing more than judging a group of people. There may be some who are bullying others who don't have money. They should be dealt with by the Law. People who are bullies should be penalized. But that doesn't mean that everyone who is rich is greedy. Greed is a heart issue. It is not resolved with political maneuvers. Greed is resolved in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But if a group of people have rejected God, I guess this wouldn't makes sense to them anyway.

  We edify ourselves, so we can minister to others. We edify the body of Christ, so those in the church can minister effectively. We build our nation up so it will be equipped to help other nations in need, when the time arises for that need to be met. 

   We work hard so we have resources to help others with. One day, we will give account of all that was entrusted to us. Let us be faithful with what God has given us. Let us become everything that God wants us to be, so we can serve others in order for them to become everything God wants them to be. 

Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.  1 Thessalonians 5:11 ESV

Note: I just read about the phrase, America First. I realize that the President used this phrase as well as members of the KKK in the 20s. The meaning of the phrase simply means that we need to take care of our country instead of trying to take care of all the other countries in the world, at our expense. I'm sure the KKK would like to have made a powerful America without having black people as citizens. That is extremely sad and wrong. Nothing that the President has said has indicated that he wants any race or people of color exterminated. The phrase America First is just a simple way of saying that we need to take care of our country first. The same way we would take care of our families or churches before we would take care of others. We take care of our own, with the goal of our own being able to ultimately serve others. We are not myopic. It's just not a good idea to try to help others without taking care of ourselves first. That's all it means. Nothing more. 

Who Are The Real Haters?

  We see a lot of hatred in our country today, especially in the political realm. Freedom of Speech is one thing. But acting violently to speech that one doesn't agree with, well, that's not acceptable. In fact, it should be illegal.

   I have seen some hatred on the Right. I have seen some nasty remarks from Conservatives regarding the ideology of the Left. But I see something much deeper, and even something that is, I believe, misunderstood.

   There is a lot of rumors, and slander going around, making the President look like a racist. People falsely accuse him of separating children from their parents at the Border (even though he openly talked about enforcing the law that prohibits that). Why, they even say the President is a racist, simply because he wants to build a wall around the Border. Former Presidents also wanted to keep illegal immigrants from coming through the Border.

   People make a stretch and say that the President hates people with brown skin, but is that really true? I have never heard him say any such thing. When the President attacks people, it is always because they attacked him or his principles first. His response is irregardless of the skin color of the attacker.

   But people put words in the President's mouth to make the case that he is a racist. They want people of color to not trust the President. There is a reason why. When the next elections come around, the Left wants every black, brown, yellow, whatever the skin color is, they want the votes. They need the votes. They want these people of color to trust them and support them. The people of color are made into a victim group in which they say the President hates, and they will 'rescue' these people from the President's supposed hatred for them.

  So, there are some people in government who are anti-American. I won't say these people hate America. What they hate is the America that was started 200+ years ago, by our Founding Fathers. They wish to remake America into another kind of country, with different kinds of rights for different groups of people.

  I am not young, but I remember what we learned in History when I was a kid. It is not the same as what is being taught today in our schools. We are taught today, that America is an illegitimate nation, and deserves to be punished. Even more so now, thanks to the push further Left, we are now even learning that America should not be a sovereign nation. America should be not so powerful, and our country should come down several notches and get off her high horse. America should be part of a league of nations, instead of an independent nation.

  I know some of my readers will argue with me on this, because this is what you were taught in school. This teaching has never been taught before, and its not like someone has some kind of new revelation on the real secret of how America came into being. All this new idea of America started in the 1960s, when there was a big rebellion from the young people in this country, against the authorities. It was violent and lots of destruction came as a result of this rebellion. Today, the college professors and teachers, and teachers of teachers are those same ones who bolted against our country in the 60s. Socialism is now favorable, even though young people really have no idea of what the cost will be for living in a Socialistic country. They are enamored with the idea of getting 'free things'. They have not been told the cost of all this. They will end up paying, but it will be their children and descendants that will be the ones to suffer.

  Anyway, back to the subject of hate. If someone wears a MAGA hat, they risk being attacked. Who does the attacking? Someone who hates the President. Someone who is angry that Donald Trump is president right now. Who are the people who throw people out of restaurants? Those who hate the President. Who are those pushing for abortion rights? The same ones who accuse Pro-lifers of being 'hateful'. Who are those pushing for laws to allow babies to die if they are unwanted? Who are those spreading rumors about candidates and Supreme Court choices made by our President? The same ones who hate him and his supporters.

  You should read the emails from the Left. They actually say in the same paragraph, that they should do peaceful protests, but that they need to be aggressive in what they do. One of their own recommends harassing those who support or work with the President, when they go into a restaurant or wherever they go in public. We have seen this exercise worked out already too.

   Just try wearing a MAGA hat or a Trump support t-shirt. Walk around town. I dare you to do this. For when you do, you will find who the real 'haters' are.

  Remember, violence is an act of hate. It is one thing to express freedom of speech. It is another thing to physically attack someone you don't agree with or to steal or ruin their property because of your anger toward them.

God calls us to the ministry of reconciliation. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." Matthew 5:9 ESV
"All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God." 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 ESV

We represent the Lord and we are to be peacemakers, not troublemakers. God does not call us to acts of violence. God wants us to work peacefully with each other and to represent Him well and accurately. 

Who Are The Real Nazis?

   With all the accusations about the President being a 'Nazi', we have to ask ourselves some questions. What are the characteristics of a Nazi and who are the real Nazis today, specifically in America?

  Of course, the obvious is to look at Hitler, for he was a Nazi and became the identity word for what a Nazi is.

  I know there are some who deny this, but it really did happen. The Holocaust took place in Europe in the early/mid part of the 20th century. Many, many lost their lives in a horrible, tragic way.

  People of a particular nationality were sent on trains to end up at concentration camps or to be placed in gas chambers to be killed. The reason why these people had to die, according to Hitler, was to exterminate that group of people so that the Aryan race would flourish and these people would go into extinction. There were other reasons too, why Hitler wanted to get rid of the Jewish people. They had such good business minds and were very good at business dealings that Hitler felt intimidated by that.

  Here is a quote from the Ann Frank Organization page:
"The origin of Hitler's hatred of Jews is not clear. In Mein Kampf, he described his development into an antisemite as the result of a long, personal struggle. Supposedly, his aversion to everything Jewish came to fruition when he was living and working as a painter in Vienna (1908-1913). Most historians believe that Hitler came up with this explanation in hindsight. He would have used it to assure people who were not yet convinced of his ideas that they would eventually see the light."*

  What ever the reasons were for Hitler's hatred of the Jews, this hatred resulted in the deaths of 6 million+ people, and this is one of the most tragic historical events that has ever happened. 

  The President is often accused of being a Nazi. I'm sorry, but I can't see any connections between the current President and Hitler. My guess is that the Left will make a stretch trying to construct a case making the President look like he is in the process of building up the white male race? I don't know. And I don't get it. 

  In one of the more recent speeches I heard as the President was speaking, he came right out and welcomed immigrants to America. He told them to please come and that they were welcome to America. He also told them to come in legally. 

  Notice how whenever the Left talks about the issue of illegal immigration, they always leave out the word, 'illegal'. I have heard them dialoging and the Conservative will use the term 'illegal immigrant' while the person on the Left will seemingly correct it or rephrase the sentence leaving out the word, 'illegal'. I always find that interesting

  Immigration has always been taking place in America since the country's inception. In fact, I believe I heard that in the past couple of years, we have had more immigrants coming in legally than ever before! Please believe me when I tell you that we are talking about 2 different subjects when we talk about immigration. The situation with immigrants coming in every day with a passport or work visa, is not the same issue as the immigrants coming in illegally through the Border. These 2 types of immigrations are not the same.

  But who are the real Nazis in America today? The President? Someone else?

   Back to the real Nazis in America now. Let's look at a woman representative in our country, Ilhad Omar, who is serving in Minnesota's 5th congressional district. 

"Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) claimed in a recently resurfaced interview on Qatari propaganda network Al Jazeera that Americans should be "fearful" of white men who are "causing most of the deaths within this country." These racist and blatantly false comments came in response to a question about Islamophobia."**

Here is another quote from the same article: "I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country," Omar said. "And so if fear was the, the driving force of policies to keep America safe — Americans safe inside of this country — we should be profiling, monitoring, and creating policies to fight the radicalization of white men."

  O.K. then. Here we have it. White men across our country are actually causing most of the deaths within this country? Who in the world would be stupid enough to believe this? She is making an accusation, not only against the President, but against all white men. 

  But not only is she against white men in America. She is anti-Semitic as well. Look at this statement she made on March 3rd, 2019***

"I am told every day that I am anti-American if I am not pro-Israel. I find that to be problematic and I am not alone. I just happen to be willing to speak up on it and open myself to attacks."

And this one, "Israel has hypnotized the world, may Allah awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel."

So, she is not only against white men, but, also against the Jewish people. Someone else was against the Jewish people too. Most everyone in his country was killed at his hands and by the military that served beneath him.

   This, my friend, is the real Nazi in this country. Along with those who are joining in with her against the white men in this country. They would destroy the white men if they could. Of course they would. That is what Islam is all about. 

  What is even more amazing are the perverted white men who go along with this. I don't hear any Left-winger white males standing up and opposing this. Could it be that they would go along with it if it means allowing Islam to take over America? 

  How about this statement from Don Lemon, a CNN television host, concerning white men? “I keep trying to point out to people not to demonize any one group or any one ethnicity, but we keep thinking that the biggest terror threat is something else,” Lemon said, adding, “we have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.”****

  According to Lemon, we have to start doing something about them. What do you think they should do, Don Lemon? Exterminate them if possible? 

  And this statement is hypocritical in itself. Anyone who has a brain can see the double standard in this statement he made. "We have to stop demonizing groups of ethnicities." But, "realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them.” Well, you can't do both, Lemon. Either you have to stop demonizing ethnicities, including white men, or, you have to give the go ahead to demonize ethnicities so you can demonize white men. 

  Maybe I am in the dark, but here is another statement by Lemon. Mind you, I am not aware of the supposed masses of white men who caused more deaths than Islamic terrorists in the past couple of years. 

“Even though more people died in attacks connected to Islamic extremists, the vast majority of deadly attacks in this country from 2001 to 2016 were carried out by far-right violent extremists…. Their analysis shows that for every eight deadly attacks by right-wing extremists, there were one by left-wing extremists,” he said.

  Umm. There is a place for people who commit crimes and are caught. It is called, 'prison'. White men who do crimes go to prison. It's a simple as that. Black men go to prison too, when they are caught doing criminal activity. It's part of our justice system. But I guess Lemon wants you and me to believe that white men are basically responsible for many violent attacks that happen inside our country. And compared to Islamic Terrorist activity, it is more serious and more deaths take place because of the white male violence.

   What they are basically saying in their statements is that white men really aren't human beings. They are unwanted living organisms that have to be destroyed. Much like the Jewish people living in Europe in the 1930s and 40s. 

  So who are the real Nazis in America? By their actions, they give away who they are. Omar and her gang, Lemon and those who follow him.

A Society of Darkness Elects Leaders Of Darkness

When you have a society living in darkness, they will elect leaders who are in darkness.

The leaders we elect reflect the character of the society.

We wonder how strange people end up in our Congress and Senate. Someone voted them in. Or, they got the votes of dead people.

So, we see people like AOC and Ilhan Omar who were voted in by somebody, and we wonder how. In the case of Omar, the district she represents is made up of mostly Muslims, so it is no surprise that they voted for her. In the case of AOC, people who don't think would have voted for her.

Why have we elected these kinds of people into office? Corrupt leaders are elected by corrupt voters. The key to electing Godly leaders is to have Godly people in society.

How do we get Godly people to make up our society though? For one, we need to preach the Gospel message. You can talk to anyone on the streets and you will find out that for the most part, they have no clue of the Gospel message.

Most people think that since they have never killed anyone, they will not go to hell when they die. They think a person has to be pretty bad to go to hell. But that isn't true. Most people are pretty good on the outside, but in the heart, they are not good at all. They need to hear the pure Gospel message, so they can be saved from their sins and delivered.

So, there is a large group of people who want a pure government with leaders who will have integrity. But how do we get that?

It's not as easy as raising up a good guy and raising up enough money to fund his campaign. We could do that, but, unless society itself has a change of heart, they will vote for whomever they want. And if the society is unregenerate, then they will raise up unregenerate people to run for office and they will vote for them.

So, what is the answer? Society needs a new heart. The people who live in the communities in America need a new heart. They will only receive a new heart when they hear the Gospel message and respond to it.

The answer for us is to preach the Gospel message. The word of God will not return void. When people hear the words of life, they are changed.

If you want to change society, preach the Gospel message.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

The Clearcut Hypocrisy Of The Liberal Left

There's probably lots of examples of this, but I will post three of them.

The first one is the situation at the Border. The Left is complaining that the President is against minority groups and that he hates brown skinned people. But let's take this apart.

  To prove their point, they refer to the Border situation with such illustrations as 'putting children in cages' and 'separating children from their parents'. They even have pictures of these things happening, supposedly.

  Well, in the first place, the children were being put into cages under the Obama administration. Nothing was done at the Border to protect the children who supposedly came with their parents. No one seemed to care then about it.

  Children being separated from their parents. Well, some of them are. For a time period. Then after the parents are checked in they are reunited with them. But, the Left would want you to think that this is the President's fault. I believe the President addressed this issue and a law went into effect to protect children from being separated from their parents.

  But this is not the main issue I want to address. The same group of people who complain about children being put in cages and being separated from their parents, are the same people who are pushing for laws that allow infanticide. Does this make sense?

   They cry about children at the Border being treated in a terrible way, yet, they allow children who are unwanted to die after birth. This is totally absurd. This is hypocrisy.

  No, this is more than absurd, if that is possible. They made a law that gives women certain 'reproductive rights' and nothing can violate those rights. If a baby survives and abortion, even if it is born full term, the baby will be left to die if the mother doesn't want it. You may be wondering, why can't they put the baby up for adoption? That would be a good resolution to the problem. But, even that violates this 'women's reproductive' rights. If she doesn't want the child, the child will die and no one is allowed to rescue the child. Her desire for her 'rights' to be honored is much higher than the life of her child. This is beyond absurd. This is total hypocrisy.

  You know the whole concept of 'white supremacy' and 'white superiority'? The Left is attacking while men, mainly with European ancestry, saying they are the problem in the country. They are looking at ways to disempower the white man in this country. Do you know who the big promoters are of this idea? You guessed it. White men. Of course, they are on the Left side.

  They are especially angry at white men who are wealthy. I think it is ironic that so many of these men are on television and are well known. This is another example of absurdity. It is hypocrisy.

  They Left has half the world convinced that the President is a racist. Surprisingly, many actually believe this claim. As I listen to the President, I haven't heard anything that indicates he is a racist. I do think the President sometimes talks before he thinks it through, and unfortunately, when that happens, many take keywords from him and use those against him. Don't feel bad Mr. President though, for they also do this to Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. They take their words to make cases against them as well.

   But do you want to know who the real racist is? I am going to focus on just this one since the information on her is fresh. Can you guess who it is?

  It is none other than Ilhan Abdullahi Omar. There are a few things she does that are troubling. But, I want to focus on the one thing she does, that you won't hear much about, at least on the Mainstream Media channels.

   You see, Omar is anti-Semitic. She hates Jewish people. She doesn't want the United States to support Israel, and if she had her way, Israel would no longer belong to the Jewish people. It makes sense when you think of her in light of her Islamic background and beliefs. If she really holds to Islam, she will hate Israel and Jewish people. But there's a big problem here. It makes her a racist. A true racist, not just a woman being accused of being racist.

  So, we see the double standard once again. Omar is definitely a Left-winger and a Democrat. She also hates America, even though she claims that she loves this country.

  It is absurd for a group of people to accuse the President of being a racist, while one of their own is a genuine, practicing racist. Do they not see their hypocrisy in this? This is one more example of absurdity.

  So, do you see how this works? The Left is guilty of certain accusations that they claim the President is guilty of. We saw this with the Russia collusion case. The Russia collusion case was simply a distraction to keep Hillary hidden from what she had done, and to put the blame on the President. That way, no one will deal with what really happened. Hillary will go into oblivion and the newly elected President could possibly be impeached or go to jail if they played their cards right.

  The ones who were truly involved in the Russia collusion were the Left, especially Obama. But all that got brushed under the rug while millions of dollars were spent to try to frame the newly elected President the following 2 years.

   You might be asking why would people be so stupid and heartless? I have a little insight into this and will explain.

   These people (the Left) are followers. They are not thinkers. They are not reasoners. They are followers and they are puppets for those who they are following. Their ultimate puppet master is Satan himself. They follow him unquestionably. He promises them certain things they desire if they follow him, and they think they are going to win the prize if they continue following him.

   Now, they don't understand they are following the devil. They just think they are following people and that makes them feel accepted and valued. It is a deception and they will be sad if they continue to follow the voice of the Evil One who works through evil people in authority.

Here's how we can pray:
*Pray for lost people to come to know the Lord
* Pray for people to learn the 'fear of the Lord'
*Pray for people to suffer consequences of wrongdoing
*Pray for the word of God to be sown in the hearts of many
*Pray for protection for the President and those who work with him


 

 

The Disconnect Between The Promises of 'Free Everything' And The Resulting High Taxes

Somewhere there seems to be a disconnect. I don't know, but in the blue states, those who want high taxes and want to give free healthcare, etc. have somehow been elected into office. There were enough people who supported them with their votes to get them in.

Yet, when these people who live in states like New York or California are forced to pay the high taxes, what happens? They just move away.

Do they not see the connection between who they voted for and the resulting high taxes they were warned about that they would have to be paying?

What happens when they move somewhere else, and the same thing happens? Will they be voting for the socialist politician who promises free healthcare and free education, again? What happens after they relocate and the same thing ends up happening? Extremely high taxes and continuing false promises to make everything free for everyone.

Where will they go to when all of America ends up being highly taxed? Where will they go then?

Do these people not see the connection between how they voted and the results? Did they think it was a joke or were they just ignorant? Did they vote for these candidates, knowing what the candidates stood for, or did they just blindly vote for someone whose name is common in every household?
