Why wars and so much abuse, destruction, and evil activity? Simply because Satan wants to destroy the beautiful world God made. The devil wants to demolish the human race. Why? Because he hates God and is opposed to everything that God made, especially those things God made in His image.
Human beings are God's highest creation. Satan would love to destroy the whole human race. He would like to end the human race. Why do you think there is such an issue with Roe vs. Wade?
God made the world and the people in it. God had certain rules for people to follow. If they did not follow those rules, they would step into Satan's territory and much ruin would come. That is exactly what happened in Genesis 3. God told Adam not to eat of the 'Tree of knowledge of good and evil'.
Satan, in a sneaky way, went up to Eve and told her to eat of that tree. At first, Eve said 'no'. But as she thought about it more, she changed her mind. She listened to the lies of the Enemy instead of obeying God.
She basically sold the whole human race to the devil's territory. Now everyone suffers. Today, many still listen to the lies of the Enemy.
The lies of the Enemy of our souls seem plausible. He comes at us with lies that makes sense to us. But we, like Eve, listen to those lies instead of trusting in God. We can know what God says, because He has given us His word recorded in Scriptures. But we even listen to the devil's lies in our trust in the Scriptures. The devil tells us that the Bible is a book of fairy tales. And we believe it. Or, he tells us that the Bible was just written by men. And we fall for that one too. Anything to get us to not trust in God or His word, the devil will try.
One day, we will all be in another physical, literal kingdom. Actually, there are two kingdoms, and we will end up in one of them for all eternity. There is the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness.
Satan is the 'god' of this world. He is not the same as the God who created everything. The true and living God has always existed. Satan was created by Him. The devil was thrown to earth because of his pride. Now the devil roams the earth and is continually searching for those he can deceive.
One day, Jesus will come back to earth. We will either be with Jesus in His kingdom, or we will spend eternity in the kingdom of darkness in hell. The devil will be thrown in the Lake of Fire, one day. He will no longer deceive people and rulers of countries. There will be peace on earth after that happens.
All who do not repent of their sins and place their trust in the King of kings, and Lord of lords, will be thrown in the Lake of Fire, along with the devil, to spend eternity there.
No one has to be deceived by the devil. Whatever reasons we have for not turning to God, are based upon the devil's lies to us. Do we want to believe him, or do we really want to know the truth?
